Pet care experience

Hey Pet Parents!🐶 My name is Chelsie. I am 27 years old and I was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. I grew up with dogs and cats as family pets my whole life. I have always had a natural love for all animals. In 2017 I was working as an Administrative Assistant at Alpharetta Animal Hospital. In my time there, I built relationships with the clients and their beloved pets. After some time, these relationships lead to pet sitting for their fur kids while they were out of town or just needing walks. Eventually, I moved on to other places of work, however I had kept up with pet sitting and walks for several years after. I would pet sit for anywhere between 5-8 families per year. Many of which I had gained through word of mouth, but some remained that I had met from the animal hospital. My previous job was with a pet professional company and I was working with dogs on a daily basis. All sizes, breeds, temperaments, you name it! Because of my background with animals, I have built the confidence to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with dogs anywhere from 5lbs to 125lbs. Toy poodles, German Shepherds, Boxers, Staffordshire Terriers, Yorkies, Goldendoodles, the list goes on. I currently do not have pets of my own (yet), but having the opportunity to provide top-notch care for someone’s fur kids truly brings me joy. Rest assured your pets will receive the love and attention they deserve while you’re away! 🐶🐾

Chelsie was great, my skittish rescue warmed up quickly and we enjoyed the pics and checkins along the way. Will call on her again.

Chelsie was great with our 3 doggies for 5 days. I was nervous to leave my 6 month old puppy for the first time. However, my puppy and my other 2 dogs did great while we were away. Chelsie was respectful to our house and everything was clean and in order when we returned home. She communicated with me frequently and that made me feel at ease. I would definitely have Chelsie take care of my 3 doggies again.

Chelsie went above and beyond while she was house sitting with our dogs. One of our dogs got sick and she not only cleaned all of the mess he made everywhere but she went to the store and bought pumpkin to help his tummy and gave so much love to ensure he was ok. She also made it so that we did not have to worry while we were away!! She is amazing and I highly recommend her

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have pets of my own right now. When I am scheduled for pet sitting, I primarily do walks, drop ins, or overnight stays at the clients home. I believe a pets home is the best space for them to stay. With the stress of family being away, it makes them feel at ease remaining in the home they feel most comfortable.

Information Chelsie C. would like to know about your pet

I have experience with all sorts of sizes, temperaments, and breeds. I’m a capable of handling large dogs as well. Please let me know if they have a reactive habits to dogs, people, objects or actions. I want to make sure they feel safe and are okay with someone new in their space. I know some dogs are very shy with new people, but I always earn their trust! I am also able to administer meds if needed. Whether they’re oral or injection medications, I can handle it. Please alert me of any allergies as well.

A typical day

Showing them love and attention is main priority! I love playing with their toys with them and getting their exercise in. Do they know tricks? I’ll let them show off their tricks for their favorite treats! If they have high energy, we’ll go to the park and play fetch, maybe go on a walk or a run. If they love car rides, we can enjoy some car time with the windows down enjoying the breeze! You’re sure to come home to happy and well taken care of pets.
