Hi, pet parents! We love dogs which lead me to start dog sitting! I’ve grown enough business that we have opened a small at home boarding facility. I’m moving away from in home sitting because my family get woken up at night, some dogs are not as friendly as they need to be for family environment, or we have dogs that have too many accidents. We thought the at home facility would be perfect as I can still provide the same level of attention and care that I do now but where my kids and house isn’t as affected! Needless to say I’m keeping it small where I only watch up to 5 dogs at a time and not always that many. They will still get lots of walks and play time in the yard. In some instance for additional cost I may still do in home pet sitting too. Check out Poppy & Pals Pet Care Facebook page for more info. We have 4 kids as who are 2, 3, 9, and 10 years old. We all have a blast with our pets. We have four dogs and a bearded dragon. Our dogs are super friendly and range in size. They really are all very spoiled. As you can see I have lots of experience with animals! Ducky Boo (pug, 8) is a crazy little dog that sounds like a pig when excited. And Lilo (Australian Shepherd mix, 3) is a sweetie who is the friendliest towards kids and other dogs. Poppy (poodle, 1) just wants to play with everyone and loves to bark. Sally (min schnauzer, 1) fell into our lap when my great uncle needed to find her a home. I would love to meet your fur baby too. You will know they will be in safe loving home while you are away! I work part time remotely and have my two little ones with me every day. We enjoy the outdoors so more time outside the better. My big boys love to play with all the dogs so your dog will get extra attention. Unless of course they prefer to just relax and be left alone. Red always get so much attention at Poppy and Pals. They go out of their way to make sure his stay is as much like home as possible! Chelsea always makes sure I get daily updates and pictures! I recommend them 💯!! We have used them multiple times
Chelsey was awesome! She kept us updated all throughout the trip. We got plenty of pics of Remi the whole time. He was so happy and done great!!! We highly recommend her and will definitely be using her for our sitter/boarding needs in the future!!!
Great family with plenty of kids and dogs. That worked well for my extrovert dog as she had company all day.
The. Best. She treated our dog like her own. Sent photos and messages each day. My worries were over when I found this sitter.

I would treat your dogs the same way I treat my own dogs unless of course they have special requirements. I try to do what the owner wants. I love to send pictures during their stay if the owners want to receive them.

I just ask that we have open communication regarding what is best for your fur baby. I do have kids and other dogs so I can only watch nonaggressive dogs. I require dogs to be up to date on vaccines, flea, and worm medicine. When I receive a request I normally have a set of questions I ask because sometimes the profile for the dog doesn’t show. Is your dog kid and dog friendly? Is your dog up to date on shots and wormer/flea medicine? Is your dog leash trained? How would you want me to walk them if they are not? (Pulling is ok some dogs never get out of that) Is your dog crate trained? I do watch a dog that is not crate trained but there are times that i might need to crate if I have to leave the house.
A typical day
I have a fenced in patio that dogs enjoy playing on. I have a front yard, large back yard, and what we call the lower yard so there is plenty of space to walk the dogs and play. I even have access to a trail through the woods behind my house and a creek. I am happy to let them play with my dogs and if they are kid friendly I can let the play with my kids. Your dogs are sure to love the attention! My kids have learned to leave dogs alone when some dogs do not want to be messed with. My dogs are learning that.

Availability
When it comes to my schedule, I currently work remotely but that may be changing soon as my job is wanting me to come back in person part time. Reach out if you want to talk about it. We like to go for walks and to parks. If I do have to run an errand you dog would be in the climate controlled boarding facility in a spacious kennel.
