Chelsey checked in on our cat Larry over Christmas. She kept us updated with photos and text, which was great. I will definitely check if she is available for future cat sitting.

My daughter, Chelsey has always lived with, nurtured and advocated for animals, both domestic and wild. She was born and raised alongside my Russian Blue and her own litter of four kittens. Chelsey lovingly sheltered several strays during childhood, also adopting and caring for for a Lynx Siamese who lived to the ripe age of 19. She walked neighborhood dogs at her grandparents'. While simultaneously volunteering, working as a waitress and toward her Bachelor of Science degree, she adopted and sagely cared for a cat diagnosed with feline leukemia who would otherwise have been euthanized. Chelsey is an altruist and ever present for domestic animals in need of help. But Chelsey has gone far beyond her local community and helped wildlife across the world. Chelsey is both physically and mentally strong and never hesitant: As a volunteer, she helped Africans in Namibia build water well barriers to protect elephants. She helped protect big cats in South America. She protected sharks and lion seal cubs in Hawaii. And as Science Officer, she spent a year protecting marine life in the Seychelles.
