Pet care experience
I began full time dog training for Petsmart in 2008 and worked there through 2013. I then began part time dog training for Such A Good Dog in Huntsville AL from 2013 - 2015. I trained search and rescue and obedience from 2011 - 2017 in Madison AL. I am a CGC certified evaluator recognized by AKC. I went to school at Auburn University for Wildlife Ecology and Management from 2015- 2017. I began dog sitting professionally in 2008. I worked as an Animal Control Officer for the City of Auburn from 2016- 2017. I am willing to look after exotic pets and dogs with behavioral problems. Chelsea was so great with our pets while we were away. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She took great care of my furbabies and sent me lots of beautiful pictures of them while we were gone.
Chelsea was awesome! I was a bit nervous as this was my first time using Rover and only second time leaving the pups at home by themselves, but Chelsea put my mind at ease with updates at every visit along with pictures of our babies. :) I would absolutely recommend her. She even gave my little one a bath after she had an accident overnight. We will definitely be using her again.

I have over an acre of land, although it is not yet fenced. I do have a small fenced area for potty breaks but have long leashes (30 ft) I can use to allow your fur baby to stretch their legs on the property. I have 3 dogs that are older but well socialized that can keep you baby company. However, if your dog does not get along with other dogs, my house is laid out in a way that makes it easy to keep everyone separated if needed.

I do not have any breed preferences. I am comfortable with small and large dogs with various backgrounds. If they are timid, have a tendency to bite out of fear, or have any aggressive tendencies I need to know in advance to help make sure that both your dog and myself have a safe and comfortable experience with each other.
A typical day
I am flexible depending on the dog's needs. If they are active and the pet parent/owner is comfortable with it I will gladly take them running with me. If they are older and need lower impact exercise I am familiar with the limits of senior dogs and can help them stretch their legs without over exerting themself.

Availability
I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic. I get an hour long lunch break so I can offer potty breaks at least every 6 hours.
