Pet care experience
As anyone who's about to dog sit for you, I grew up loving dogs. I grew up with a English Springer Spaniel. Since moving to Portland it has not allowed me the same experience due limitations with apartments. I am loving and caring of anyone's pet and enjoy being able to share my fun energy with those I come across. I'm kind hearted and patient with both dogs and cats, young and old. I have a slightly flexible schedule with available evenings and weekends and an occasional time during the day to ensure your dog is being cared for. Aside from my own childhood pets, I care for pets of friends as needed throughout the past 3 years. Feel free to contact me for any of your pets sitting needs!

Chelsea was a true professional! She was prompt in her responses, she reached out for clarification when required, and most importantly, she took great care of my pups. One of my dogs is wary of humans and the other can be leash aggressive... she took both of their special needs into account when caring for them... much appreciated!
Chelsea has walked my two pups twice now, and it's been great! They look happy in the pictures she sends and are calm when I get home. We have now hired her to house/pet-sit for a weekend.
So very pleased with our choosing Chelsea to stay with Rummy for a few days!! She was kind, professional, timely and also considerate as she kept us informed as to how dog sitting Rummy was going while we were away. Would definitely have her again! Chelsea took care of out kitty on three separate occasions, both overnight and drop-in visits. On each of those visits she was professional, dependable, and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!

I prefer to care for pets in their own homes where they are most comfortable. I try to keep their schedule similar to their normal day to day as best I can. I always ask for some notes as a reminder to help make sure I'm not forgetting anything so I don't distract owners while they are away.

Do they get along with other dogs, if we go on a walk should I be aware of anything? Are they good with other people specifically kids if we pass them outside? Any dietary restrictions?
A typical day
We will take plenty of walks and play fetch with some of their favorite toys. That may include socialize with other dogs, but only if we know if they get along!

I'm currently working and a part tien grad student but available in the evenings and weekends to make sure they are cared for and loved while you are away.
