I have had dogs as pets since childhood, elementary school, friends have had dogs. I've helped a neighbors dog give birth, i used to volunteer at Animal Talk and I worked at multiple bird breeders farms and a bird shop back in 2013. Ill be honest, i have no history dog sitting, I've always been around them and have a niche for reading animals, better than humans sometimes! Most of my dogs have been rescues.
