Hello!! My name is Chelsea and my passion is for animals. I have always treated my animals as part of the family. I first started out volunteering as a wildlife rehabilitator when I was in high school. There I learned how to care for the sick and severely injured. I learned supportive care and therapy can make a world of difference in the animals outcome. I also gave subcutaneous fluids, subcutaneous injections, intramuscular injections, intravenous injections and how to administer oral medications. After I graduated high school, I decided I wanted to go to school to become a veterinary technician, I am a certified veterinary assistant and plan to take my state board exams soon. I worked at a animal clinic where it improved my skills and knowledge of taking care of animals. I've worked in an emergency clinic, where we saw a lot of emergencies, injured and very sick animals. I have the skills and knowledge on how to take care of animals in an emergency situation. How to administer medications and pre and post op surgery care and what to look for. I am comfortable in emergency situations and handling animals. I now work with an animal dermatologist. I work very hard and love what I do.
