We require Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DA2PP (canine influenza). **Holiday pricing in effect for all major holiday times (Valentine's Day, Easter Break, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's Break). See below... We started 22 years ago sitting for friends & family. They can go on vacation and not worry about their pups. They know that they are in good hands. Back in the day, we would send cute photos of their pup via email to my friends and family. Now through Rover, we upload pics of the pups, which can be view using the Rover app for smartphones. One of our friends goes on cruises so she loves to see what her dog has been up to. Chelsea is food/travel writer, competitive home cook, and part-time caregiver to her 92-years young grandma. We may have events to do press coverage on. Events range from 2-8 hours. For caregiving, she may be away from 4-8 hours once or twice a week. Richard works from home. When booking, we will let you know in advance if anything is on our calendar. If you require 24/7 care, please mention it in your inquiry to see if we can accommodate for the dates you request. We also post photos on Instagram (@tailwagsoc) so everyone can see how much fun your pup is having. Requirements: - Owner and pup profiles must be complete before accepting Meet & Greets and Reservations. A questionnaire will be sent with additional questions to make sure your pup will be a good fit. - Must be over 1 year old. Puppies under 1 year old are taken on a case-by-case basis. Drop-In visits: 10-mile radius of 92805. We can travel to cities outside of this range, but commute time and mileage will be an extra charge. ***Holiday boarding will be in effect for the following dates: - December 22, 2023 - January 2, 2024 - February 13-15, 2024 - March 22 - April 8, 2024 - May 24-28, 2024 - July 3-8, 2024 - August 30 - September 3, 2024 - November 27 - December 1, 2024 - December 23, 2024 - January 2, 2025 Here is Rover's refund policy: - You'll get a full refund if you cancel by 12:00 noon the day before the stay begins (12:00 noon is determined by your sitter's time zone). - If you cancel after 12:00 noon the day before the stay begins, you'll get a 50% refund for the first 7 cancelled days. Example: If you cancel a 4-week vacation after 12:00 noon the day before the stay begins, you'll only be charged 50% for the first 7 days. You'll get a full refund for the remaining 3 weeks.

We are from out of town (Sacramento) and had Chelsea watch our 2 dogs in our hotel while we went to the Disney parks last year. We had never left them with a sitter before so we’re a bit nervous. She sent us updates, pictures and videos throughout the day which put our minds at ease. Our girls seemed to have so much fun and really liked her that when we decided to come to the Disney parks again this year, we didn’t want to hire any other sitter but Chelsea. We don’t leave our girls with just anybody and It’s so nice to have a sitter we can trust so we could enjoy our family vacation at places we can’t take them and not have to worry. We could just enjoy ourselves and know that our girls are in good hands. We highly recommend Chelsea if you’re ever in the Anaheim area visiting or if you live in the area and need a sitter for your fur babies.
Chelsea and Richard have been taking care of our fur babies for some time now. We are always happy with the way the house and our pets are taken care of. They're happy and taken care of when we get home as if we were never gone. ❤️🙂 I will always recommend them!
My pups could not have had better care while we were in vacation! Chelsea and Rich we so attentive to our boys and so great at communicating with us (with adorable pictures as well!) during the long weekend. Their thoughtfulness really was apparent immediately on meeting them as they asked great questions about the care for our dogs, and they actively provided updates that kept us informed and feeling relaxed knowing they were cared for. Would recommend to ANY one looking for top level care for their fur babies!

Rich works from home. Chelsea is a part-time caregiver to her grandma, but will make sure we will be at your residence 75% of the time during house sitting.
