Pet care experience
Tbh I’m doing this for some flexibility in money-making. I love animals and have raised dogs with my mom doing volunteer work for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I’ve lived with a cat who had specific medical needs. I’ve walked and taken care of plenty of animals. My biggest strength is that I’m a person doing this for more ease in the world. I’m just down to joyfully hang with an animal and not trying to profit off that experience, but make some side cash.

I prioritize the ability to be active with your pet if that is what they want! I’ll go for long walks and support your doggo in good walking behavior. I will always pick up after your dog and keep them well hydrated and fed as needed. As well, I am very comfortable maintaining your pet's boundaries with other people/animals. I'd never let a dog interact with another dog without checking in with the human!

Let me know what you’re hoping for with your dog’s day! Do they get along with other dogs? Would you prefer I tell them to “leave it”? I just want to emulate the style of humaning that you’d want to give your dog.
A typical day
Long walks through Volunteer park. Stop for scratches and rest. Walk down to Lake Washington. Enjoy ourselves rain or shine. I’m also down to brush your dog’s coat and teeth!

Availability
This year I’m taking a break from the classroom to substitute teach. I’m not looking to do that 5 days a week this year, so I have a lot more flexibility than in years past. Willing to take your doggo on a nice long walk a few times a week or more if it works in our schedules.
