I love every animal I meet!
Pet care experience
I am a little obsessed with animals. We have 1 dog, 3 cats, and 7 chickens. Whenever I see dogs and cats at local shelters, I want to adopt them! All of our animals were adopted from local shelters (except the chickens). We love to play and cuddle! We have dealt with dogs with anxiety and dogs who are overweight. We only use positive reinforcement and lots of love. My kids are 12 and 14, and are really good with animals. They are respectful and like to play if the dog is up for it. For in home, My cats are good with most dogs, and if the dog barks or wants to chase them, the cats stay upstairs. we have a gate for the stairway, and the dogs can roam the rest of the house (main floor and basement).

Chelsea has watched our very small dog multiple times and we are so grateful that she follows our dogs schedule and special needs. We love getting the updates and photos. She is great at communicating! And we are planning to rebook many times in the future!
Chelsea was the sweetest with our old girl! She took her for walks, sent us daily updates on how she was doing, and was very communicative. We will definitely be using Chelsea and her sweet family again! Thank you!!

At my home, I have a fenced-in backyard, and a house to roam (with no off limits rooms or furniture besides the kitchen table, unless the dog chases cats…then the upstairs is off limits). I believe firmly in positive reinforcement and never punish or use negative actions when an animal does something inappropriate.

I would like to know the general temperament, since I will have other animals present in my home. If your dog is nervous when first meeting new people, it's important to know so that i can approach them the right way. I of course want to know the preferences of your dog (does he always have food in his bowl, or only at certain times of the day? What are her favorite games? What gets him really happy and excited? What is she afraid of?)
A typical day
We go on walks around the neighborhood daily (sometimes twice a day when the weather is good!) We will play catch, fetch, and tug of war. We will have lots of cuddle time.

Availability
I currently work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to let your dog outside and give food, loves, and walks. During the summer and at night during the school year, my kids love to help out. We do a walk every night, but if you have a higher energy dog, we add one in the morning too.
