I will love your pets like my own!
Pet care experience
Since I was a child, I have assisted in the care of animals. My family has always had at least one dog and cat in the home, and I worked as a kennel assistant and veterinary assistant at a veterinary clinic for many years beginning at age 13. At the age of 16 when I began driving on my own, I began to house sit and pet sit in the summers. I found this work very rewarding and loved meeting all of the new animals. I love spending time with animals, dogs and cats in particular, and strive to provide the best for them when they are left in my care.
Reviews
Chelsea was amazing! My rescue pup had a serious bout of unexpected separation anxiety while we were gone and she was proactive in both alerting us as well as working to ease his anxiety. She adjusted her hours with him and his anxious behavour lessened. She was great with my cats and the senior dog as well. House sitting for 4 neurotic animals is not for the weak. :) She communicated daily, followed medication instructions and I felt at ease while away. 100% will rebook again.
Professional and always takes great care of my babes when I’m gone. Definitely recommended
Chelsea was so responsive and sent us pictures of our pups while we were away. I will definitely be booking with her again!
Chelsea was very responsive, sent regular updates, and took great care of my dog!

In my own home, my dogs are fed once in the morning and once in the evening. They have a yard where they spend a great deal of time when the weather is nice. They go on regular walks, and we sometimes go to the dog park. My three cats have automatic feeders that drop food twice daily. Water is always accessible for all of our pets. When caring for animals in clients' homes, I find it very important to follow instructions carefully. Not only do I make sure I am providing what the client has requested, I also enjoy playing and spending time with the pets I am caring for and giving them lots of love and pets (but only if that's what they want!).
Information Chelsea L. would like to know about your pet
The most important things for me to know about your pets are their routine, your expectations for my interactions with them, if they have any special needs or should be handled in a particular way, and if there are any health conditions or behaviors I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love going on walks through the neighborhood and whatever local parks are available. If dog parks are something your dog loves, I would be excited to take them! Fetch and frisbee are also activities I am well-practiced in with my own dogs, and my high energy Border Collie mix loves to run alongside a bicycle.

Availability
I work full time, Monday through Friday, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am currently splitting my time between working from home and working from my office, both of which are centrally located in Memphis. Early morning, mid-day, and evening walks and check-ins are easy to manage when I have the ability to plan ahead.
