As a former zookeeper and current dog / marine mammal trainer I have truly turned my passion for animals into a career. After graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, I moved to Chicago in 2014 and worked at several zoos and aquariums in the area. After a year or so, I was looking for a way to expand my training knowledge from marine mammals to other animals, that’s when I found dog training! I’ve recently moved to the Atlanta area and have continued working with animals. Now, as a trainer at Georgia Aquarium and dog walker, I feel lucky to have jobs where I can share my enthusiasm for training and help foster positive relationships between pet parents and their dogs.
