This was the single worst experience I have ever had with a sitter. I would, quite frankly, NEVER recommend Chelsea to anyone. She failed to follow our crucial instructions. She didn’t keep the bathroom door closed for the first two days (one of our cats plays in the tub) and so the shower ran for basically two days straight. She also didn’t tell us this until the second day it happened. Our apartment is FILLED with water condensation now. She then decided that this “situation” made her uncomfortable and she refused to go back to our apartment to feed our cats. She also refused to return our keys and made our friend travel out of the way to get them at her other job. Maintenance came the next day and cleaned up all the water damage that she caused. The maintence worker, a really great guy, fed our cats for us and played with them while this incompetent, disrespectful woman abandoned them. For an animal lover, she clearly didn’t care about our babies. She put in absolutely no effort to keep them safe and happy. She literally said that she thought our apartment was haunted because of the yellow water on the walls (which is just rust from the shower water she let run) and REFUSED to step foot in it. She was going to let our cats suffer because she’s scared of water damage that, again, she caused and that I now have to pay for. I’m still out of town for five days three states away. I had to deal with all of her selfish, irresponsible behavior and she offered nothing but stress and excuses. These cats are my world and I am so incredibly disappointed by the way she handled everything.

Chelsea was an amazing cat sitter! She came over before we left and showed immediately that she cared about helping us and our cats out. She is very personable and showed a lot of initiative to make us feel comfortable by sending photos while we were away. She was responsive, reliable, and dependable during our vacation. I would definitely request her to cat sit again and suggest you consider her as well!
