Hello! My name is Chelsea and I absolutely love all animals! I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid growing up on a farm in Iowa. From the age of three to 32, there has only been a two year stretch where I did not have an animal in my possession and that was only because of living overseas and traveling. At the age of 12 I started doing a lot of pet sitting for neighbors and it has continued to now! My husband Josiah also grew up on farm and loves animals just as much as I do. When he is not working at the hospital, he enjoys joining me in caring for our furry clients. We both have a lot of patience and love to give and treat all animals as our own! We have two dogs of our own, and I use Rover often to find pet sitters. One thing we highly value is a sitter who respects our home and our requests for our dogs. I carry this value into my work here with Rover as well, by treating my clients, their fur babies, and their requests with the utmost respect. I have done a lot of training with dogs, so if there is anything you are wanting your dog to learn or work on, I can definately do my best to help! I am very excited to meet your fur babies and look forward to working with you. I am currently home full time! I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give full attention to my clients and it also allows me to take on last minute requests. While in my home, all of our fur friends are supervised and provided plenty of water. I do not provide any type of treats, but the owners are welcome to bring some along!
