Pet care experience

Professionally I work in disaster relief, but personally I have always found taking care of dogs more rewarding. My family always had dogs while I was growing up (Scottish Terrier, German Shepard, Border Collie, Bichon Frisé/Poodle, Pomeranian, Dachshund). Now I have my own little guy, a Chihuahua named Captain 💕

Chelsea is the absolute best pet sitter we’ve ever had. All four of the cats flocked to hang out with her as she was caring for our dog who has a hurt leg at the moment. She sent so many pics and updates it felt like we never left. Thank you for giving us the piece of mind we needed to enjoy ourselves while we had to be away from home.

Chelsea has been around and owned various breeds of dogs for many years and is a very responsible caretaker. She has taken care of my dogs on numerous occasions and I would not hesitate to use her again.

As a pet parent herself and animal lover, Chelsea is highly recommended! Chelsea is a wonderful person and has a passion for caring for animals. She takes the time to get to know the animals and cares deeply about making sure they are happy and safe. Chelsea is very responsible and works diligently to maintain a pet's routine. A++

Throughout the course of our 15 year friendship Chelsea has dog sitted for my fur babies many times. I have had crazy dogs, docile dogs, finicky dogs, abuse surviving dogs and they all LOVE her! My job requires me to travel a lot so whenever I'm out of town, I can always count on Chelsea to look out for my puppers and give them the love and care that they need. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my little furry children.

Safety, trust & environment

Pets are the priority in my home. Multiple water bowls, only healthy treats (carrots, cucumber, cauliflower, apples in moderation bc of sugar). Walks whenever they need, lessons daily (my Chi needs a lot of mental stimulation so if your pup needs extra attention I can do the same with them).

Home

Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog

Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Chelsea G. would like to know about your pet

Allergies of course, and triggers!!! I'd like to know, regarding my contact with them, or theirs with other people. I rescued my Chi from what I believe was an abusive situation, so he came his own list of fears/reactions that we've slowly worked through. I'd be happy to do the same for yours if they have similar issues.

A typical day

Depending on the dogs personality, some like to play, then nap, then play (tug-of-war, fetch, squeakers)...or if they're more relaxed/older just relax on the couch with pets. I like walking them around the trail by the Garnet Valley dog park bc it's safe and there are other people around.
