2 work from home animal lovers!

Pet care experience

I fostered puppies for 4 years and had to take a break due to my work schedule but have seriously missed dogs in the house! I would love to take your pooch to the dog park or on a walk and get us both some exercise! If you’d like your pup to come to me, we have plenty of room! My fiancé and I live in a town house in Potomac Station with a fenced yard! As a Realtor I work from home 50% of the time unless I’m out with clients! My fiancé is a full time at-home employee, between the two of us someone is usually home. We have 3 cats who are used to dogs from fostering and rover visits, and we used to live with a dog! We would prefer calm "house-guests" so that my fiancé's work calls aren't interrupted by constant barking. We also prefer that you know in advance if your dogs are good with cats :)

We felt from our interview with Chelsea that she would be great. Our kitty,Toby, came right up to her - knew she was a cat person. We Loved the daily pictures. We got home last night. Everything was fine & Toby was glad to see us. We will definitely ask for her again.

Chelsea was available and flexible on short notice and I know Brownie was in good hands at her house! I would definitely rebook with Chelsea!

Chelsea was fantastic with my cat Fred. She was super-responsive, especially given that I reached out with very little notice due to a last-minute change of travel plans. She was prompt, kind, and very responsible. The pictures say it all: My cat loves her!

Chelsea was so sweet and easy to work with. Rudy was happy when we picked him up...so much so that he didn’t want to leave! Communication and photos were provided and it was apparent that he was enjoying his stay. We will be using Chelsea again.

Information Chelsea G. would like to know about your pet

If I am watching your dog at my house, as long as he/she is ok with cats we should be fine. The upstairs is the “cat safe” zone which is where we feed them and where they know they are safe. We don’t allow dogs upstairs for that reason. I have fostered many, many dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages and we've never had an issue with the kitties beyond barking. I don't mind if your pup is crate trained or not, as long as they are house trained! If your dog is a puppy and you’re still in the process of potty training I can try to help reinforce that training! If your dog is crate trained I've had the most success when the crate is brought along as well so the dog feels a little normal

I am on rover because I have gotten lazy and COVID has only made it worse! I would love to get active and take your pup on long walks around the neighborhood!
