I have several clients that have relied on me to provide the best care possible, including medication administration and veterinary visits. I really came to realize how much I love dogs (and cats) and the work required to take care of them when I worked at the animal shelter after school. I've rescued a few dogs in my past until I could find the best placement for rehoming. I was originally asked to pet sit for a weekend, and I realized that I really liked it! Dogs are great companions for me, they are motivating with their high energy and positive attitudes. Cats have unique personalities, and I have loved even the most aggressive felines. My experience administering medication: I have administered insulin injections, otic antibiotic ointments, otic creams, pills, and oral liquid medications for both cats and dogs.I would like to know and practice the best way to administer medications with the owner during the meet and greet and have any questions that I may have answered.
