Hi there! I’m Chelsea. I'm very upbeat and happy and dogs definitely help with that! My love for animals, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule, is what prompted me to work with Rover. I am very focused and caring when it comes to animals and I love them as if they are part of my own family. I love playing around with my own 5-year-old Chihuahua and taking her along when I visit my family all over the Bay Area. She gets along great with most animals, but is a bit timid around big dogs. I live in a 3-bedroom home that is on the south side of San Jose and we have a large, gated backyard that allows for plenty of room for playing and running around inside and out. Dogs love my house because they always have company and plenty of toys beds and water! I live with my fiancé and his parents and we all love dogs, but I have to say that my fiancé is the one who gets the most excited when I have a pup to take care of -- he just loves having another dog to cuddle! We live close to a few dog-friendly parks and I also love getting out of the house, whether it's to go to the beach or just down the street to the park. A typical day would have us hit the yard for a potty break first thing in the morning before we had some breakfast and a little playtime with my Chihuahua. We would then head out for a walk before we headed home for some chill time or a nap. Throughout the day, you can be assured your pup with get plenty of attention and there will also be plenty of potty breaks as well. I have owned many different types of animals my whole life, mostly cats and dogs, but I love all animals. I have been a groomer at Petco for more than four years and I love it! I have worked with all breeds of dogs and I love them all! I also like to keep in contact with owners with texts, emails and pictures so that they know their beloved furry friend is being well cared for.
