Pet care experience
I know how difficult it is to leave your fur babies behind when you leave town. My family will make sure your babies are safe and comfortable while in our care. I managed a dog kennel for 3 years and have been an avid animal lover all of my life with experience from opossums to sugar gliders. I have trained dogs, horses and even pigs and been administering medication from topical ointments to injections since I was a child. While in my home your dog will get one on one attention every day, whether that be in the form of fun training sessions, hugs and kisses, runs or just cuddling on the couch. I have found that one on one time with the leader of the pack (aka me) helps shy pups feel a lot more comfortable, especially when we have a house full. A weekday (Monday-Thursday) in my home looks like this: 6:00 am - Potty break 6:30 am - Breakfast 7:00 am- Short walk/potty break 7:20 am - In crates, exercise pens or dog safe areas of my home while we go to work and school. 4:00- 6:30 pm: Potty breaks/snacks/play time 6:30 pm - Dinner 7:00-8:00pm One on one time- depending on your dogs needs we can do extra exercise (a 2-3 mile run), training sessions to work on manners or new tricks, or just cuddling. 8:30 pm - Potty break 9:00 pm - crates, safe areas, exercise pens for bed time 2:00 am - Occasional potty break for those who can't hold it all night. (aka Sidney, my elderly boxer) On the weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday): 6:00 am - Potty break 6:15am - Breakfast 7:00am- Short walk AFTER 7am THE SCHEDULE MAY VARY DEPENDING ON MY FAMILY & GUEST DOG NEEDS I have very active kids, so dogs who are comfortable in public are usually taken to a ball game, the Chickamauga Battlefield for a nature walk, Petco or a playground. We also take a lot of potty breaks, about every 2 hours we go out to potty as long as we are at home. 6:00 pm - Short walk/run/potty break 6:30 pm - Dinner 7:00-8: 00 pm One on one time- depending on your dogs needs we can do extra exercise, training sessions to work on manners or new tricks, or cuddling. (On the weekend one on one sessions could happen at any time of day) 8:30 pm - Potty break 9:00 pm - crates, safe areas, exercise pens for bedtime 2:00 am - Occasional potty break for those who can't hold it all night. Reviews
Chelsea was great! I could tell my pup was well-cared for during her stay. She also sent me pictures with updates which was great!
Chelsea and her family were great! Photo updates were nice and they we’re very flexible with dropping off and pick up times. We would definitely use them again.
Our dogs had a wonderful stay with Chelsea and her family. She sent pictures of the pups out for walks and a run. She is very quick to respond to messages. I plan to board our dogs with her again and would recommend her to friends happily.
Chelsea, her husband, and her family totally accepted my big baby. She was spoiled with affection. Chelsea did great job of staying in contact with me. I will definitely stick with chelsea. Thank you so much!

I really love to teach. My dogs and pig know quite a few tricks and considering their background before they came to me, have impeccable manners. I find that most dogs thoroughly enjoy the mental stimulation of learning, so you may come home to a dog who's just a little better mannered or who has learned to roll over or speak. We spend a lot of time at the ballfield, so well mannered and friendly dogs are often treated to meeting the kids and families on our ball teams, which comes with lots of free belly scratches. We also like to hit up the playground after games. When we aren't at the ballfield you can usually find us in the woods at the Chickamauga Battlefield or Pigeon Mountain. Timber, my German Shepherd, loves to hike and trail run, we always welcome the company of guests with lots of energy. I usually run at least 20 miles every week, so don't be surprised if your hyped up pooch is worn out when he gets home. If we can't run or make it far from the house, we live in a very quiet neighborhood with side walks.
