PLEASE NOTE: I am pregnant and due in February so will temporarily be ceasing dog sitting during this time I've always grown up with dogs in my family and as an adult have always loved dogsitting for others, as my living circumstances don't allow me to have my own dog. I think I've got the best of all worlds as I've been able to have experience of dogs big and small, from French bulldogs to came corsos. I WFH so have a lot of flexibility in my days to come and walk/dogsit. If I'm needed for longer time periods I can easily bring along my laptop. If my calendar shows me as unavailable please feel free to send me a message regardless, depending on location and service required I may be able to make it work. Every dogs needs are different, talking to the owner is how I would assess what is needed for that particular dog. I'm a patient person and can take the time needed to make sure the dog is comfortable around me. Caring for dogs within the safety of their own home can mean they're more settled overall but I also take cues from the dog and owner into how best for me to fit into their environment.
