Pet care experience
Sometimes I think I was a dog in my past life bc I connect with dogs so well. Most dogs love me, but I am respectful for those that are scared or need coaxing. Some of my clients just needed me to help a new dog feel better acquainted to their new surroundings. It is rewarding to me to see those dogs flourish after some time being walked and talked to and played with. I have graduated with a M.S. degree in geography (so I love exploring), and I have a B.A. degree in biology. I currently have 3 dogs living with me. Part of my philosophy about dogs is how connected human beings are to their dogs. Personally I believe humans would not be as highly evolved as we are if it were not for our dogs. They trust us, and we owe them so much for that trust. Towards humans (i.e. you), I am courteous, polite, flexible, and calm. I also love cats. I have had up to 3 cats at any given time.

A typical day
I only walk dogs in and around Belvedere Park, Avondale Estates, and Midway Woods. The longer the walk, the better. I usually try to map out my routes beforehand. Safety is my first concern, but I do love exploring. I'm a geographer! I like to imagine what prehistoric humans and their dogs did while hunting and gathering. When hot: bring water, walk in shade, avoid sun. When cold: walk fast, run, walk in sun. When rain: no umbrellas bc we are natural hikers.
