I'm a young professional that works from home and have some extra free time and LOVE caring for dogs. So this is the perfect opportunity for me and I have 6+ years of experience caring for dogs on Rover, after graduating from undergrad I took up dog sitting and I have watched homes and pets while family is out of town since then. I am very flexible and reliable and would have a great time with your pet! Why I love dog sitting: I had a dog who I was extremely close with and since his passing I miss a dog's companionship. Because of school and work I'm not able to take care of a dog full time so in the meantime I would love to keep yours company!

Chauna took care of our two anxious rescue dogs when we left them for the first time, and she won them over and gave them excellent care and cuddles. She communicated regularly with daily photos, and asked questions when necessary. She stayed in our house for eight days while we were out of the country, and left the house in great shape. Caring for our dogs involved giving them medication as well as navigating their sometimes reactive barking towards other dogs and sounds. Chauna did a great job with them!
Chauna did an excellent job watching my 13 week old puppy all day! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and reports of what he was up to. She was also very responsive if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend!
This was my first time leaving my dog with someone from Rover and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Chauna. She kept my updated with pictures the entire time which made us feel right at ease. Would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to leave their dog with a responsible and caring person.

Before taking care of your dog, I would like to know how many walks you'd like them to have, for how long, when they like to be fed, if they're allowed on furniture, what they're like when you're in your home, how they respond to you leaving your home, if they're good with other dogs/children, etc.
A typical day
There’s plenty of routes to get a nice walk in and if you allow dog parks, there’s a great dog park right next to my apartment building where your pup can run around and meet other dogs!
