Lots of Love and Flexible Schedule
Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs and wish I could spend all my time with them! Unfortunately my work and travel schedule means that I don’t currently have any pups of my own, but sitting is a great opportunity for me to give dogs the love that they need. I have been pet sitting for the last 2-3 years and have found the experience very rewarding. I’m at home most of the day for my freelancing work, so your pup will have me alongside them for the lion’s share of the day. No one likes to be cooped up inside alone! I like to take many breaks throughout the day to get out and stretch my legs, so we’ll have plenty of opportunities to get out to one of Seattle’s wonderful parks. I love to get out and go identify plants and trees, and it’ll be wonderful to have a canine co-pilot along with me to help out! I always like to make sure that both pups and owners are very well taken care of during a stay, so we’ll be in contact as much as you’d like. I always like to send daily text updates on how your pup is doing under my care, what we’ve done that day, and what we’re planning on doing the next day. I’ll of course send any cute pics if we’ve happened to take any during the day as well!

I don't think a dog sitter should be using my own private bathroom attached to the master bedroom that my husband and I sleep in. She had her own guest bedroom and bathroom to use but decided to use mine because "it's bigger". I only found out because she left her face wash in my bath tub. A little sketchy if you ask me. Also from combing through a combination of my video doorbell and smart lock, here are the times she took out my dog and for how long (stayed over Friday through Sunday): Dec 1 2:14pm - 10 mins 9:08pm - 20 mins Dec 2 8:26am - 14 mins 12:44pm - 12 mins 8:25pm - 15 mins Dec 1 3:56am - 12 mins 11:26am - 17 mins As you can see, there was no long walk (probably took my doggy enough to just get him to poop cause he likes to take his time). Most importantly note the 8 -11 hour gaps between when he was let out (was asked to let him out every 6-7 hours).
Chaska is incredible and has gone above and beyond with our cat and dog in feeding them, playing with them and sometimes dealing with an unexpected event like our dog who likes to escape! I would highly recommend Chaska to anyone looking for a dependable caring sitter!
Chaska did a great job watching my dog and sent photos and updates throughout the stay. I came back and my dog was calm and happy and clearly had a good time with Chaska. I appreciated that Chaska cleaned up the kitchen too after using it!
I've been a dog owner for 15 years but this was the first time I needed to hire someone to watch one of my pups (always had family or friends to rely on), so you can imagine I was a bit nervous. My dog Adrian is very shy, but during the meet and greet my dog warmed up to Chaska right away. Based on the pics I got while I was away, Adrian was content to snuggle on the couch and was happy and healthy upon my return. Chaska clearly loves dogs, and I would certainly book again in the future.

A typical day
I love taking walks in parks. Seattle is so lush and beautiful, it’s just a perfect place to go explore. It’s all the better when you’ve got a new friend along for the ride as well! I like to get out to some of the parks and trails in order to identify plants, so exploring is a must for me! If your pup likes to get out for some new sights and smells, they’ll be in good company with me! When I’m working at home, I always try to get out several times a day to make sure that we burn as much energy as possible. There are tons of great places to explore nearby, so we’ll be able to meet some new friends and play around in the grass no matter where we go!
