I'm the one at the party you find hanging out with the dogs (or the kids - but the dogs are the important ones here)! In addition to spending time with friends' dogs, I love getting my fill with dog-walking and pet-sitting. I have my MA in Children's Literature from Simmons and now live in Somerville and work remotely, which allows me the flexibility to walk, play with, and take care of your dog(s) as needed! I love getting outside and exploring neighborhoods on foot during walks and becoming buddies with dogs I get to spend more time with. I grew up with a dog and have experience walking and dog-sitting friends' dogs of various breeds/sizes, personalities, and quirks. I value rules and routines as well as fun! My childcare and dog-care background gives me the patience, compassion, understanding, and skills to give your furry friends the love and attention they need and deserve.

Charlotte is wonderful and Ernie is always excited to see her! He’s always happy and tired when I get home. She is also very accommodating with scheduling. Would definitely recommend her as a walker!
Charlotte has been our dogsitter several times and she is awesome! She loves dogs and is extremely responsible and dependable. Our dog is not the easiest to manage at times (dog-reactive rescue) and Charlotte has taken it all easily in stride. I definitely highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog care!
Charlotte has house/dog sat for us many times. She is 100% reliable, wonderful with our sometimes anxious spaniel, and clearly loves animals. I completely trust that she will take good care of our house and dog and absolutely would recommend her.

For dog-sitting, I like to set up a meet-and-greet first to help make the care and services successful. What's their usual schedule? Do they need any meds? What commands do they know? Where are the doggy supplies located? For walks, how are they with other dogs and people we might encounter while out and about? Do they have a route they're used to following?
