Hi, my name is Charlotte! I moved to Harrisburg for work in November 2014. I adopted my dog Rosie, a 48 lb pit mix, in January 2015. I fostered a few dogs before I decided that Rosie needed a permanent friend - so in November 2016, I adopted my 2nd dog Leo (pit/German shepherd mix 75 lbs) who was at the humane society for 459 days. Both dogs had their behavior issues coming home so I'm comfortable with imperfect dogs. I grew up from 6-16 with a German shepherd and after 16 with my parent's blue tick coonhound who is still living, so I am comfortable with bigger dogs. I can walk and drop in on your dog but I don't have room to board! My day job is very flexible and I can usually stop in at any time.
