My name is Charlotte and I've always been an animal lover, growing up with dogs, cats, horses, and other pets. I live in the East Village with my sister and our dog, Tali. We adopted Tali, a Jack Russell mix, a bit over a year ago from a kill shelter. She was very nervous and aggressive with new people when we got her, but we've worked with her to calm her down and now she's wonderful to have in the city. Through my experience with Tali, I understand not only how to handle a dog in the city, but also how to work with dogs that may have special needs (e.g, need to be kept calm, or need to be careful with around new people). I look forward to hopefully meeting your dog and spending time with him or her!
