Pet care experience
I got my first dog at age 8 and have loved dogs ever since. I've worked at a humane society and know how to appropriately handle any dog from your giant loveable leash puller to your sweet grumpy old guy. I've also dog sat for family friends over the years and am ready to take care of your pup. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have even worked with reactive and fearful dogs.

I want to respect your wishes as a pet parent while creating a great environment for your dog. I think it's very important to recognize behaviors that are signs of fear and aggression and respond appropriately. Respecting your dog's boundaries and starting with a slow and calm introduction will ensure that your pup and I have a great time together.

Any medical or behavioral issues are the most important for me to know. Behavioral issues might include leash pulling, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. This is especially important if there is more than 1 pet in the home or if we plan to go to an area with other dogs.
A typical day
I'd love to walk your pup along riverside park or take them to get a pup cup. If your pup has a favorite walking spot or activity, let me know!

I'm currently a university student and have a pretty flexible schedule. Feel free to make a request outside my availability and I will see if my schedule allows. This especially applies if you need a visit or walk after 5pm on weekdays.
