Pet care experience
Sam and I have been together since 2019 and engaged since 2021! We are both animal mad and it was one of the things that we bonded over! We currently both have 2 cats each, mine are Bella & Milo and Sam’s are Socks & Mittens. We have always had and lived with family cats and our extended families have always had dogs, so we are comfortable and happy around them. We love all shapes and sizes and breeds! I have recently completed a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma, which has given me extra invaluable knowledge in caring for animals. We love going for long country walks or plays on the beaches near us. During term time we live in Bristol (Clifton/Cotham), but for the long holidays we spend our time in our hometown of Torquay!

Sending heartfelt thanks to Charlotte & Sam for another successful dog/house sitting session for us. Honestly, we can go away and not worry one little bit about our furballs or our home. Charlotte is impeccably clean and tidy and our home was spotless when we returned, as were the doggies!!!! They are always so excited to see her and there are plenty of cuddles and attention for them. Charlotte keeps us updated and doesn't hesitate to contact us if there are any problems which we like. She knows we are always available and will respond quickly. Thank you both, you are a fantastic asset to Rover. louie & Cali will look forward to seeing you again in September xx
This was the first time leaving our dogs at home. It was a 2 week stay so we were a little nervous. ABSOLUTELY no need to have been!! Charlotte was amazing and we were so happy she was able to do it for us. We didn't worry about a single thing the whole time we were away. The dogs loved her, they went for lovely walks and were so well looked after and spoilt. Charlotte also respected our home and left it clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Charlotte to anyone looking for this service, you'll be able to go away and leave your precious pets with complete confidence that they will be having as much of a holiday as you are!!!! We are very organised and greatly understand pet safety from the course that I completed in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. So I will always make notes of the protocols you have in place and we will adhere to your needs/requests when it comes to caring for your pet in your home.
Information Charlotte P. would like to know about your pet
The most important part of this job is understanding your pet and its needs. So I will always keep a record of any relevant information on your pet to keep them safe and happy while in my care. For example, I will ask for contact details, emergency contact details and vet details. But also, your pet's medicine needs, allergies, intolerances, etc. And last but not least, any of your pets favourite toys, treats and likes/dislikes!
A typical day
A typical weekday for us includes a morning workout at the gym and cuddling up with my fiance to watch our favourite tv shows or movies in the evening. Normally fitting work in between! When looking after dogs or pups, our favourite place in Bristol to take them is Clifton Downs! The cafe there will provide shelter if the weather drastically changes and a quick coffee stop if we fancy one! The large open space provides ample room to throw balls/toys around and provides a space for targeted and distraction training. In Torquay, we love to visit the various beaches, Cockington or many various countryside walks with the dogs in tow!

Availability
Sam and I both work part-time shift work in Torquay, so we are around fairly regularly for all of our pet friends and owner clients! We try to keep our calendar up to date as much as possible, but please enquire about your dates and we can always work something out!
