Chris works from home full time and I do some of the time, so there is always someone around with your furry friend, and we will never leave any dogs staying with us alone in the house. I have an enhanced DBS check for my work. The dogs get plenty of walks/toilet breaks throughout the day with a longer walk in the morning and the evening. Our dogs are very playful in the evenings and love other dogs, and we would want to ensure they can meet your dog prior to agreeing to any stays. If the request is for house sitting then this can only be facilitated over the weekend starting from Friday evening. We are happy to meet and talk through what is required so you feel comfortable your dog/pets will be cared for safely, and we will ensure that their routine is followed, they have plenty of time to exercise, play and have as much affection as they like :) If the request is for drop ins/walks then this will need to fit around our normal working hours and so could either be early morning or anytime in the evening during the week, with more flexibility at the weekend

We have an enclosed garden and lots of lovely local walks so your dog will have lots to explore - there are also some enclosed dog fields nearby we can book if there are any concerns regarding recall so your dog can have a good run around. If you are needing support in your own home then will be happy to meet and discuss what your pets routine is so we are able to follow this to ensure they are happy and safe. *We respectfully ask that dogs who will stay with us please be up to date with their flea/tick treatment and annual vaccinations including for kennel cough to ensure all dogs safety and wellness - this is a condition of our licence that we must follow for the benefit of all dogs who stay with us *We only ever have one guest dog boarding with us at a time (unless you have two dogs which we may be able to consider) so your dog will get lots of love and attention

We would like to do a meet and greet prior to accepting bookings for boarding or day care to ensure our dogs can meet each other and this is a great opportunity for both you and us to ask questions, but of course for boarding/day care please be aware prior to booking that they any dogs will need to be comfortable being around other dogs. It will be helpful for us to know when your dog has their meals, and how often and what they eat, how long and often they go for a walk each day and if there is anything they are scared of/triggers or anything that is special to them so we can make sure we provide the care they need. For housesitting or drop ins we would prefer to meet first so we can meet your pet and you can show us where everything is and so your pet will have a familiar face when we visit - we will look forward to meeting them! A typical day
We have an enclosed garden that dogs can explore and can go for plenty of walks in the local neighbourhood. We have lots of toys for dogs that love to play! We have space so that your dog can have some time on their own when they need to, as well as plenty of company if they should wish. We will check if you are happy for us to take your dog in the car and can take them on local adventures. We generally keep dogs staying with us on lead or take them to a secure field to let them off lead so they are safe during their stay until we get to know them well or you let us know otherwise. If you normally run with your dog let us know as we may be able to make sure they get their regular runs during their stay 😊

Pet care experience
We have lots of experience in looking after dogs of all ages and with different needs, and have our own two small dogs we have owned since puppies who are very friendly. We love dogs, enjoy being active and playing with them. We are happy to help with dog walking, day care, drop ins for all pets, or boarding at our home following a meet and greet to ensure that our dogs will feel comfortable together. Licence for dog boarding can be shown at meet and greet 😊
