Charlotte was amazing and we would definitely use her again. She helped us out when we we’re in a pinch and with little notice in advance, she was happy to watch our dog for us. She was very responsive and sent us frequent updates. She treated our dog like her own and that put us at ease knowing our dog was in such good hands.

Charlotte was amazing. She was very caring and knowledgeable about dogs. She sent us pictures and updates during Hurley’s stay and was extremely accommodating with our crazy schedule. We will definitely use Charlotte moving forward!

Hurley was a joy to have here, he was so playful my dog loved him!

We are so happy we got to stay the week with Charlotte. Blue and the foster pup were really nice to us. The weather wasn’t very good but she continued to be outside atlnd throw us toys whenever we wanted. She snuggled with us and even had beds so mom and dad didn’t have to park ours. . With a toddler and a newborn at our house we prefer Charlotte’s house because we get more ...

Small flat faces are welcome here!

Concerned about boarding your little snub nosed friend with an inexperienced sitter? Worried about the heat and humidity? Concerned that there won't be enough love and cookies and a choice spot on the couch for your dog when you're not there to hand them out? Don't be! I have a great deal of experience with the brachycephalic breeds in particular and with small dogs in general.

I brought home my first Pug in 1985, my ...

What Charlotte would like to know about your dog

Health, temperament, level of socialization, attitude towards other dogs and cats, medical and emotional needs - I would love to know all of that so that I can ensure that your dog will be safe and comfortable in my home.

I LOVE Pugs and French Bulldogs! Hands down, my favorite breeds. However, I am familiar with just about any breed, from the years that I spent training dogs for other people, and I've been delighted with each and every one of them.

When Charlotte watches your pet

I'm a part time practicing attorney and while I share an office in Boston with fellow attorneys where I can meet with clients, I do all of my preparatory work in my home office. My dog and boarders are always with me when I am working, and we take plenty of breaks in my fenced in yard to play. I do not take either my own dog or boarders to dog parks for health and safety reasons, but I do invite friends and their dogs over for frequent play groups. Your dog will never be bored!

Meals are served twice a day, with snacks in between. Please be sure to provide your dog's food! If you have specific dietary needs for your dog, I can ensure (s)he will get what (s)he needs. My own dog eats a raw diet, and I also can accommodate a raw diet for your dog, if necessary. If your dog needs medication, I have no trouble giving that medication. I also am experienced in giving insulin shots to diabetic dogs and feeding dogs with megaesophagus.

When I am out of the house, most of my boarders, especially repeat visitors, have the freedom of my house in my absence. My own dog is well used to visiting canines! If your dog is very timid, is a puppy, is not reliable or particularly well behaved around other dogs, or is not housebroken, I do have very large (you can fit an entire Doberman in there!) crates available for their use for that period of time when I am not there to supervise them.

At night, boarders sleep either with me or near me in the same room, depending on their preferences. There are dog beds (and couches, and chairs) available in every room, and boarders are welcome to share all of them.

If you have special concerns about your dog, I will be happy to address them. My goal is the same as yours: to provide a safe and happy environment in your absence for your dog!
