I've grown up with dogs and cats and have been interested with helping people care for their dogs for a long time now. I try to care for my dog just as if he were my daughter. I keep him on a schedule so that he knows what to expect. We are super friendly and Riley enjoys having playmates and good company anytime. I would prefer that a dog crate or kennel be provided while in my care but it's ok if not. My heating system is in working condition so your pup will be in great comfort while inside and not on a potty break. I have rugs down my hallways and in my living room so it's not as easy to slip and slide while roaming the house. I have some toys for the pups to play with and plenty of backyard for them to run. During the day I would have them mostly inside aside from potty breaks. I have gates installed in my hallway and kitchen for when I am cooking amd cleaning. I also have chain locks on my bathroom and office doors so they aren't getting into things they shouldn't unless I am in the room as well. I place kennels or crates or beds in the office while I am away on errands or work due to the fact that it is all tile, its centralized and also the nicest room in the house and gets the best heating or a/c (depending on the weather). While on my spare time with the dogs I always try to teach them "sit", "stay", "lay down", or a trick I call "the bear" if they do not know how already and I reward them with treats. I am quite used to previously abused dogs so I am very comfortable with working with shy dogs. I know how to apply oral medications to dogs as well if your dog needs something before bed. I keep sweet Riley on a feeding schedule so I'm prepared to do the same for yours. I also like the idea of sending update pictures at least once every day or two. That way you know your baby is enjoying their time while you are away. My dogs have all been happy dogs. I love to cuddle with them as well while watching movies or just working on the computer.
