I have previous experience in dog-sitting, walking and care-taking while friends are out of town for more than one dog. Here are some techniques I like to use: Walking into a house with a sense of confidence and a welcoming spirit to reassure the dog that I am a friend. Having a ball, bag, chew toy or treat handy for all occasions. Providing gentle and non-aggressive care in every situation. Having constant awareness of surroundings and settings while taking dogs on their walks. Sticking to each owner's preferences on care instructions. Keeps aware of any allergies or injuries one might have. Open to any ideas or suggestions an owner has concerning in the care taking of their puppy/dog. Letting the pet know I am enjoying their company is very important to me too!
