Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a professional animal caretaker. I grew up around many animals as a kid and was the trusted pet sitter among my neighbors. I went to college for a degree in Zoology and later a Professional Science Master's in Zoo, Aquarium, and Animal Shelter Management. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Science, focusing on animal behavior and welfare. I have worked at pet stores, shelters, sanctuaries, zoos, and even laboratory animal facilities, caring for a wide range of animals. I have a big love for animals and will take the best care I can of your pets.

Charlie took great care of my dogs while we were out of town for a week. I asked for lots of pictures and she delivered! I could tell my pups were having a great time with her which made me feel a lot more comfortable leaving them for so long. I definitely recommend Charlie and hope to have her watch my babies again in the future
Charlie watched our dogs, Wrig and Nu for a weekend while we were away in Chicago. Nu is usually slow to warm up to strangers, but Charlie was patient with her and made sure she was comfortable. We received lots of pictures and updates. We look forward to having her watch our dogs again and would definitely recommend!

A typical day
I go for short jogs in the morning that an active dog can join in on! I also am happy to lounge with a dog that might not need as much physical activity. I am very flexible and can meet your dogs needs.

Availability
My PhD work is done on my own time, so that is really flexible. I only take up to 3 credits a semester, so I do not have a heavy course load. This means I am fairly available to come in and care for your animals.
