Pet care experience
As a kid growing up, I was surrounded by large and small dogs. We had two small poodles, Genny and Gigi, as well as a rescue pit/boxer mix named Stevie. My responsibilities included feeding, taking out, walking, bathing the dogs, and occasionally administering medicines when needed. After growing up in a family with dogs, it was only natural for me to explore ways in which I can care for dogs even if I can’t yet commute to adopting yet. My partner and I have dog sat for many friends and family over the years and have also fostered dogs through Hearts and Bones Rescue. We love any opportunity to bring a dog into our home and pamper them. Living right next to Prospect Park also makes our neighborhood the perfect spot for dogs that enjoy scenic walks and meeting other furry friends.

Charlie was such a lovely sitter. So sweet, communicative, accommodating, and took care of my dog, as if she was her own. She watched her for four nights and I received recaps of walks and photos of them at the park enjoying a nice weekend. Will definitely be booking with Charlie again!
Charlie Ann has cared for two of my dogs over that last 6-7 years. She is an excellent canine caregiver that our family trusts with our dog, Stevie. Charlie often walks, feeds, administers medication and plays with Stevie when we are at work during the week or occasionally traveling on vacation. Often Stevie will stay with Charlie when we are away for extended periods of time. Stevie really enjoys Charlie so we don't feel guilty leaving her with such a great dog sitter!
Charlie is fantastic with my two dogs! She’s super friendly and responsible. The dogs love her and she makes sure they are happy and comfortable. She gives me updates at the end of their walks to let me know what they’ve done which is super helpful and informative. She goes above and beyond. Could not recommend her enough!
Charlie is super caring with pets! She looked after my german shepherd for an entire month while I was in California - took him on walks twice a day, made sure he was caught up on his flees and tick medication, and even bought him some new toys! Can't say enough about her dedication and care for pets. Would recommend to anyone that needs help looking after their dog for long trips away.

Availability
Both my partner and I work from home and we are both early risers and active. We enjoy walking in Prospect Park before and after work and would be able to take dog walks and breaks throughout the day.
