I have worked with a professional dog trainer. With this trainer I learned about training bird hunting dogs in Minnesota for 4 months. I learned many skills to care and communicate with dogs including a couple discussions about how dogs think and why you must treat them with respect and care. I just finished applications to dental schools. Which leaves me at home for most the day as I wait to hear back from the schools for possible interviews. This gives me a lot of time to check on pets or stay at a clients home to ensure the pet and your home are safely looked after while you are away. I live in an apartment that does not have a yard but I have several green spaces around my complex nearby that would allow me to walk the dogs. I also have a large Yukon in which I can take dogs to the large dog park at the western end of Horsetooth if the owner does not mind the dog going for a short ride in the car with me. My apartment has a decent amount of space due to the fact that I live alone and do not have roommates. I grew up with dogs in the house so I ensure that there are no electric cords uncovered for them to chew on. I also secure my trash so they can't get into anything that could make them sick or hurt them. All my floors except my kitchen are carpeted and I even have a few toys that they may like to play with or just snuggle up to.
