Pet care experience
I grew up with both cats and dogs (and other pets), including a 150 lb Newfoundland, numerous mutts of various sizes, cats and other small animals. I have experience with all kinds of dogs of all ages, from puppies to the elderly. I cannot currently have a dog as I travel quite a bit, but when I am around I walk a lot and would be happy to take care of your pet. I have cared for numerous dogs in their homes, and have hosted in my own home. Many otherwise standoffish dogs are quick to bond with me. I don't mind when dogs lick my face (except when their breath is really, really terrible). I only care for one dog at a time so as to provide my complete attention. I am fully vaccinated and will hopefully never wear a mask again.

My husband and I were apprehensive about leaving our Giant Schnauzer while we vacationed. So we first set up a meet and greet. When we met Charles, we instantly knew he was perfect for our boy. Our Doc is a "velcro dog" and even though he's still a young pup, he's almost 90 pounds and super energetic. We were gone for a total of 17 days and Charles took Doc on daily walks, sometimes twice a day. Doc even got to help with the yard work and explored the art of gathering (and chewing) sticks! Charles kept in contact with us the whole time. He sent us texts as well as pictures of Doc's adventures and was always available to us if we had a question. We highly recommend Charles for any of your dog-sitting needs. We definitely will be contacting Charles again in the future. Thank you Charles for taking such good care of our boy!

Charles did a wonderful job to our dog. We went to Virginia beach for 5 days and while away he’s giving us an update about out Rico’ stay with pictures.And when we got home our dog is in a well condition. Well done Charles. Thank you very much!!
Our Great Dane James is a scaredy cat and is a timid towards new people. Charles was very good and gave James his time adjust. He immediately proposed to go for a walk which put James at ease. Charles is calm and patient at heart which James picked up on. Definitely found our favorite sitter and will bring James back for another day/night.

Feeding schedule, temperament, not really a whole lot else. I adapt to the dogs I have and have never had any issues. If your dog has particular sleeping habits, also good to know.
A typical day
Around 6, I get up and take my dog to Watsessing Park for the morning business. When we get back we both eat (if instructed) and I get ready for my day. Every couple of hours, I take a break and either run around in the yard or sit with my dog (rainy weather, for example). After work, we walk around the block and meet other dogs, temperament permitting.
