I love hound dogs with their big floppy ears also and terriers but they are all great in their own special way with their each and own special personalities. I love meeting new dogs and learning who they are and what they enjoy. When I am sitting with a dog it is important that I know their allergies or if it has any problems with health wise and if it needs medication or is there anything that he is afraid of as well as if he has any problems with chewing on random objects and if he is house trained. My last dog had a litter of puppies so I’m fimiliar with that amazing miracle as well as elderly authritic dogs with special needs. I personally believe some dogs have had bad public exposure but like most media it’s mislead. The fact is 9/10 dog bites that end in the E.R are from dogs 10lbs and under. That’s statistics. But you don’t read that in the paper. Not to say there are some dogs that have been treated so bad they don’t know how to trust or behave around humans maybe ever again and that is tragic. They are loyal and amazingly resilient and are always happy to see their owner And I believe those are such an admirable traits.

I have had my share of older family members before they left us, rest in peace Cana, Ollie, shaggy. I have elder dogs in the past with problems, so I am very aware of their help Weather it is help up steps with their authretic bones and joints. Or a little boost up on the couch. Well besides the 1,500 back yard fenced in backyard that backs up directly to doublin parks with fenced in soccer field we will have all the room to play fetch or what ever he/she loves. Plus the countless dog parks just in my area.
