We have owned small dogs for 30 years and have a keen sense as to when they are sick and when they need to go to the vets. We have heard on many occasions our grown children say when they die they want to come back as our dogs. Sometimes we sit back and look at them and thank them for their companionship and unconditional love.You cant live without them. One thing I cannot do is work at a shelter as they would all be going home with me.
