Pet care experience
While I only lived with a dog for a short period of time, I have plenty of experience walking and sitting dogs across the country from Alaska to Minnesota and now Washington. There isn't much I love more than taking a happy doggo to a lake or dog park, or even on a fun hike! I have years of first aid and first responder training, and will be looking into more dog-specific training.

Charles did great with our 4 dogs. Charles is very attentive and went above and beyond in his care over an extended trip we took visiting at least 3 times daily. The other prior reviews informed my own decision to book Charles and I was not disappointed. Great guy and I enjoyed talking to him as well.
Every time my pup, Spin, sees Charles she knows she is in for a day full of fun and adventure! Charles has been a go-to anytime I am away for a long day or a weekend, and when I come home, Spin is so happy (and pooped!) from the hikes they take and tugga they play. He always sends pics from the trail, and goes out of his was to make sure she has all the TLC she needs! I can’t recommend him enough!
Charles cared for my sweet dog many times, including multiple walks and outdoor activities. He was engaged and loved spending time with him! Very responsible with great communication and followed through with his promises. I highly recommend Charles for any of your animal care needs!
Charles is a dedicated dog sitter and always makes sure my high-energy dogs are totally worn out by walking them or taking them to the dog park. He takes them on long walks and sends lots of really good pictures - they both love him! I highly recommend Charles especially if your dog requires a lot of exercise.

I would love to know if your dog has good recall, in case we decide to go off leash in a designated area. Also, any anxieties or fears that the dog might have (separation anxiety, issues with larger dogs, etc).
A typical day
I love taking dogs out to Millersylvania State Park or the Capital State Forest for a day of fun. If that isn't enough to tucker your pupper out, perhaps a trip to a dog park is in order! And I've been known to finish a day with a viewing of Homework Bound.

I work full-time, so I will be available to look after your dog(s) after 5pm. My weekends are open, and perfect for taking a dog on a walk along a trail.
