This wonderful side gig soon became a passion as I relocated to Massachusetts and Connecticut, relishing the flexibility it offered. Even before my Alaskan adventure, I had a deep bond with dogs and cats, offering pet sitting services to friends. Bringing joy to your beloved furry family members through cuddles and playtime brings me immense happiness. I have no breed preferences but do have one small request—a meet and greet before we embark on our pet-sitting adventure. This brief introduction not only assures your pet that I'm a friend but also allows us to become better acquainted. My experience extends to indoor and outdoor cats, puppies, seniors, rabbits, chickens, and birds. I have also administered oral medications, via pills and needleless syringes, as well as utilized a nebulizer for a rabbit. Animals are truly remarkable, and I would be honored to care for your fur family. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Please note that a travel fee of $2 per mile per night applies to locations beyond my 8-mile service radius, starting from Norwichtown.

Another stellar job from Charlene. She is the best and most professional dog sitter I have ever used. You will not be disappointed I promise you. When she is taking care of my dogs i can relax knowing I am going to get regular updates and everything is going to be taken care of with professionalism.. She treats your pets as if they are her own. Cooper Lee and Kasey adore her and I know they love their time with her. I can see it in their faces from the numerous photos she sent!! You could not ask for a better sitter.

Charlene was excellent for our weekend getaway! She did 3 check ins with our cats. She provided us with many photos and detailed updates while we were gone. We will definitely be booking with her next time we are out of town!

All instructions provided will be followed to the letter! I do not answer the door, or let anyone indoors, unless the owner has informed me ahead of time. When on our walks, we will do our best to avoid all potentially reactive situations (if another dog were coming, we stay on the other side of the road – or duck down a side street, if possible). I do allow others to pet the dog, and get treats from UPS, USPS, etcetera, if it is alright with you [the owner]. I have used e-collars, pinch collars, and a couple different types of harnesses. If no one else is around, and not in a neighborhood - primarily around 4H fairgrounds and other empty fields/trails, I have walked dogs off-leash (with owners permission) and only after testing recall in an enclosed area. Pets are never allowed outside unattended. I will also provide other services such as taking in the mail, watering houseplants, taking out the trash, and cleaning up all accidents made in the house. If trash day falls on the same time as one of my visits, I will ensure all trash is either in the dumpster or your trash can is brought to the side of the road for pickup (I will also bring it back in if it is picked up during my time of stay). A typical day
I love being active with your dog, whether playing fetch, tug-o-war, or going on lots of walks (primarily around the neighborhood). I ask that your dog be leash-trained if over 45lbs, for both my own and the dogs safety. For cats, I feed, water, and scoop their litter box(es). Extra time is spent cuddling, playing, or simply leaving them be until they are comfortable; it all depends on what your cat likes. During the quiet times, I enjoy video games (on my gaming laptop), watching television, and reading. I normally pre-cook my meals at home before each housesit.

My fiancé does sometimes get sent out of state for work. During the time he is away, I will have to care for my own pup, Duke. Duke will NOT come to any visits, unless it is discussed beforehand and we are able to introduce the pups.
