Quality Care You Can Rely On

Pet care experience

Being a dog owner is such a rewarding experience! The most challenging part? Socializing them in a safe environment and leaving them at home to go to work, run errands or take a vacation. I can provide you with a solution you can count on and your dog will love! I have been hosting dogs locally for daycare and boarding since 2017 and all of the dogs and their guardians are like family. I've helped raise and train many dogs and my dedication comes from a lifetime of experience. I grew up on a farm with dogs, horses and cats, I was a supervisor in a boarding kennel, dog daycare and was given a training apprenticeship for a world-renowned trainer of animal actors for movies and TV including; big cats, elephants, black bears and capuchin monkeys. I lived in East Africa where I trained horses for horseback safari and volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center where I cared for an elephant calf. I worked with feral dogs in India for eight years where I started a grassroots effort to vaccinate street dogs to spare them from government culling. During this experience, I was able to observe and engage with "free-ranging dogs" as they exist in packs which gave me a unique and significant understanding of communication, breeds/temperaments, pack order and subtle social behaviors. Being a mom helps too! It's natural to love your dog like my own. I have two German Shepherds, a cat and an awesome kiddo that helps with the dogs. I am experienced, reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. I practice positive reinforcement training and I am CPR and first aid certified. Your dog will be in very good hands. Looking forward to meeting you! My first priority is ensuring the safety and comfort of all the dogs; *Prior to making a boarding appointment clients are required to schedule a Meet and Greet and attend daycare for a day *All male dogs must be neutered and females in heat are not permitted *Dogs must be crate trained and comfortable in crates for feedings *All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations

Charlee was great for our pup! This was our first stay with her and it was wonderful! She asked great questions at drop off to get to know his preferences and kept us updated during our whole trip.
