I grew up having dogs. My mom and dad had a dog before I was born so I don’t remember a time in my life when we didn’t have at least 2 dogs living at my house. And while I’m away at school, I really miss having dogs around so I’d love to interact with animals without having the full responsibility of having one of my own. I have tons of experience when it comes to animals - especially dogs - because I got my own dog when I was 16, and I took care of him basically all by myself. I trained him, walked him everyday, played with him, and fed him. I was so sad to leave him when I came to Knoxville for college.
