Pet care experience
I've always had pets and I love animals. I grew up with Dobermans, Bichon, Lab, Cats, & Exotic Birds in our house. We also had multiple litters of puppies throughout the years. I have a natural LOVE for animals. For a few years I assisted my mom with training dogs for the blind or as a service animal. She's been a 'puppy raiser' for 10 years and I helped her with training the dogs for 8 years. I learned a great deal about training dogs. I currently own 2 indoor tabby cats. I've also lived with large parrots and owned a bunny in the past. Pets are like children. They need to be respected, given clear boundaries, and given unconditional love. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with animal rescue organizations to help cats and dogs find good homes. I'm also available to help you learn to train your dog. I will teach you the techniques of using positive reinforcement and consistent handling.

Charla helped me to teach some tricks to my 8-month-old puppy and took great care of my dog and cat when I left town for vacation. While she stayed at my house, she was considerate & respectful and very clean and kept my peds happy while I was gone. She has a lot of great skills and a ton of patients for working with pets and pet parents. I would strongly recommend that you choose Charla to work with.
Charla has had dogs (and other animals) all her life and has always treated them with loving care. She has extensive experience using positive reinforcement training and would be exceptionally good to help with this. She has past experience participating in training dogs for the blind and other therapy dogs. She is exceptional with animals and I would have and have had her care for my dog without hesitation.
