Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Charity and for as long as I can remember, I’ve had pets and I’ve always enjoyed assisting others. When I was a kid, I often helped my aunt by caring for the dogs and puppies in her kennels. When I grew older, I took on extra duties including tending to the horses, cats, and chickens on her property. As a teen, I worked as a groomer and then as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital. Though adulthood, I've occasionally helped out friends by caring for their pets while they’re out of town. I have also owned pets my entire life. I currently have one doggo & two kitty-cats. I live in a dingle family home with tons of room for dogs to roam, play and relax. I also have a sizable backyard. My neighborhood is a dog-friendly community with sidewalks, a huge green spaces and dog parks. I have a non-smoking family & my husband and two teenaged kids love animals too! My ability to be calm and patient are excellent traits for pet sitting because animals can be unpredictable and they can sense stress. Being sensitive and affectionate are also great traits for pet sitting because animals can be temperamental and need love and kindness. I am a people person by nature and I have always truly loved animals. I put my heart into everything I do and am not in the pet sitting business to “make a quick buck;” I’m in it to help others and to be able to be around fur-friends. I work from home part-time & my schedule is flexible so it’s easy to work my hours around pet services.
Reviews
Charity was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our needy pups. They both have some anxiety and stress habits and she cared for them so well. We got TONS of pictures while we were away. She played with them and snuggled them, following their routine. I think our pups were bummed that we came home because they loved her so much!
Charity went way beyond expectations. Excellent care was given to my dog. Lots of walks and pictures. Top quality!
Our Lucy did incredibly well with Charity and her family. She was a bit nervous when we dropped her off but when we came to pick her up she obviously felt really comfortable there-she even kept going over to them for "pets"as we stood chatting-good thing we aren't the jealous type-hahaha! Charity's love for dogs is obvious but she's also a great pup parent! Lucy had walks, rides in the car (she adores both) and lots of affection. I wouldn't hesitate to call Charity again! Thanks for taking such good care of our girl!
Every experience our family has had with Rover has not been good. When we found Charity however it was a home run! She is a professional who genuinely cares about Bentley and takes the responsibility seriously. He LOVES her. I trust her with him and to respect my home. It would not be possible to find someone better suited. I give her the highest recommendation!

I do not currently have a fenced in yard but I will take your pop out on many as many leashed walks as you/they want.
Information Charity T. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pal, I’d like to make sure we are a good fit with a meet and greet. I'd also like to know about any medical issues they may have, the breed, size, age, personality, eating schedule, potty schedule, and exercise requirements.
A typical day
Dogs and I seem to just naturally connect without really trying. However, when I meet a new pup, I love playing games with them and providing lots of love and comfort. I love baking and can make amazing dog treats, but don’t very often because my dog is on a strict diet. I can be very active or a couch potato; whatever your pet would like, I can accommodate. When we go on walks, we’ll explore my neighborhood or go somewhere in the car.
