Pet care experience
For most of my life, I’ve always had a wide variety of pets. Many years ago, I was a co-owner of all A’La Carte Pet Sitting which was a fantastic experience. I am currently volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter and passed several ASPCA behavioral and care courses for dogs and cats. My scope of pet care extends beyond just dogs and cats. I’m passionate about providing TLC for furry friends of all types, ages and sizes. I’m comfortable administering medications and other special requests. I currently have two awesome dogs, Sadie and Jack. Three amazing cats, Sammie, Griffith and Tiger. All hang out together and are spoiled rotten. 💕

What I can truly say about Charisse is that if I pass away I'd love to come back as a dog and be taken care of by her. She is such an animal lover, so kind hearted, detail oriented and doesn't miss a beat. She has a special way with animals and I believe she could be called the female dog whisperer! I have seen firsthand how she interacts with so many different pets including my own and it's amazing how well they respond to her. She has taken care of my three pups on numerous occasions and when they react with such happiness upon her arrival we are completely assured that our fur babies are in the best of hands. ❤️
Charisse has an amazing love for animals, she has cared for my dog Richard multiple times while I am out of town. Animals naturally gravitate towards her loving and caring nature and it shows in her attention to detail and affection with all animals.
I think Charisse is a blessing. She has a genuine heart felt loving passion for pets and wants the best for them. I appreciate her tending to the little details that my buggers- both dogs and cats-are use to. Peace of mind!

Trust and safety are top priorities. Your pets will receive the care and love as if they're mine. I would say that accountability during a visit is essential. An initial meet-and-greet is highly recommended to ensure instructions are followed as requested, such as pet care, alarm, lights, gates/doors locked, retrieving mail, picking up poo and debris, etc.

Please let me know if your pets have any special needs outside the norm. In particular, bowel/tummy concerns, aggressive with other dogs or cats, not house trained, nips or has not so good chewing habits.
A typical day
Going outside to stretch our legs, and take care of business (potty). If likes to retrieve toys, not a problem. If requested a nice walk in the neighborhood will definitely make everyone a happy camper. Sometimes a loving rub down and cuddle can do the trick.

Weekly, I attend brief meetings and volunteer. Most of my time is dedicated to caring for pets. My schedule is flexible during the week and on weekends.
