Hello, my name is Charissa and I am currently a doctoral student at the University of South Florida. I have lived in Tampa, FL all of my life, and I have had much experience with dogs in my personal life and in helping with rescue organizations. My husband and I adopted our little Maya about two years ago, but I grew up with having at least one dog in our household at all times. When looking for a dog to adopt (and one that my husband could live with due to his allergies), we were given permission to take Maya home with the understanding that if my husband's allergies started acting up, we could bring her back and try another dog. This is not commonly done with rescues, but because my family and I had a good relationship with the leader of the rescue, we were allowed to take Maya home and send the adoption fee once we had decided we could keep her (and fortunately my husband is not allergic to her!). I also love cats and would be more than happy to take care of your cat(s) as well. I am looking to earn some extra cash while in school by doing something I love-watching four-legged friends! I am detail oriented and can deal with dogs or cats that need medication administered to them. I hope that you will consider me if you are looking for a responsible and loving sitter.
