Pet care experience
Get your dog ready for the time of their life! Playtime on the National Mall, walks to the waterfront Wharf area, and of course, lots of cuddles and treats! Your friend will have a great time hanging out with us! About Me: I grew up in a large household with up to three dogs in the home at once, two of which still live with my parents. I have a lifetime of experience with dogs of varying ages, breeds and sizes. In college, I also helped care for dogs in summers away from home. I now live with my rescue dog, Chaos, a black and tan coonhound who also uses the Rover app and services when I need to travel for work.

My dog has been crate-free for years, so we don't have a crate in our home. However, he was originally crate trained and we have plenty of space if this is the type of care your dog needs. Otherwise, your pet will be free to be in whatever space of the apartment they need, and never too far from view. We also have a dog friendly balcony if they need some time in the sun.

A typical day
Morning trips to our large, fenced-in dog park, with tunnels and agility equipment. Afternoon walks on the National Mall or a trip to the Wharf. Lots of cuddles and belly scratches! And the occasional pup cup from our neighborhood Starbucks.

I work from home indefinitely, and Chaos is my favorite coworker! We start each day with a morning trip to the dog park and work in other walks as needed. I'm never more than a few steps away if Chaos needs a treat or reassuring pat on the head.
