Pet care experience
Hey I'm Chara! I have had experience since I was a child working with animals, fostering both cats and dogs through the humane society, as well as dog sitting for family friends. I have always wanted pets of all types but it's not ideal for a travel bug like me! However I would love to have the extra company while I'm in town! I studied at UW Seattle, transferred to ASU, and graduated from the University of Sydney. I am currently at home visiting my family~ so I am only able to do this temporarily (hence, last minute bookings are best for me, since I probably don't know where I'll be weeks/months from now!). I love all animals, especially dogs and still hope to get one someday-- but for now I'd love to take help take care of other people's dogs until I can get my own! I want to provide your dog with a great place to stay, a warm and loving home, and lots of attention. I have a big backyard, although nothing fancy, with lots of space to sniff around in (though I might still keep dogs on leashes even though it's fenced, just to be precautious~ I've had a few diggers!). I will take him/her out on walks and whatever else they need~ I love hiking and running so if your dog likes either let me know and I may do one of those too! I am very attentive and flexible with any additional requests you may have, just let me know. I guarantee a memorable experience for your furry friend <3
Reviews
Chara was awesome! She was able to take our cat last-minute and made everything super easy and smooth. We’d love to have her help again - highly recommend.
Chara was super prompt to respond and did amazing with my Brody boy!!! Thank you again for helping us out and being awesome with communication! ❤️
Chara did great with my boxer puppy!
Chara came to our rescue and watched our Pomeranian over the weekend after our first sitter had to cancel at the last minute. Chara responded quickly to our search and immediately hit it off with our shy Pom. Chara sent us pictures throughout her stay and our Pom was a happy camper when we picked her up. We highly recommend Chara!

Safety, trust & environment
I am always extra cautious with any new pets I'm around, since different ones can have different reactions to different people and circumstances. I take care to meet all basic needs and more, and ensure each pet has the highest amount of attention and is happy and healthy. Any special instructions for care I will be sure to take note of and enact.

Information Chara C. would like to know about your pet
The most important things I like to know about each dog ahead of time is their schedule (waking up, walking, eating, sleeping), level of activity/energy, foods/diets/restrictions/treats, health concerns, and any fears/dislikes (i.e. fireworks, children, men, etc.)
A typical day
In a typical day we would wake up, go on a walk together, come back for food (or whichever comes first by preference) and continue on with the day repeating the walk and food as necessary. We would also maybe sometimes go on a run together if the dog likes to be active, or stay in for belly rubs for older dogs that can't handle extra activity.

Availability
I am working mostly at home right now, with a flexible in person work schedule (because it mostly consists of gig work so I can create my schedule) which allows more time to be home for pet care as needed.
