I believe in schedules, especially when the parents are away so that the pup can have some sort of certainty. My communication style is chattering so they get used to my voice. Usually playful talk but I can also say "no" when necessary. Unless I have a cheeseburger in my hand then its hard to say no. If dog parents don't want their pups to have people food they have to let me know. I do know all the foods that dogs absolutely should not have!! My partner and I just lost our 12 year old Boston a few months back. I can't really say I'm ready for another dog just yet but would love to spend some time with pups. I still have my doggie stroller.
