I will be booking again with Chantii ! She was very professional and sent me updates about Ivy and let her outside on the patio to lay in the sun, it was my first time using rover and I was nervous at first , but she seemed very sweet and Ivy seemed very comfortable around her ! I cant wait for date night, so I wont be so stressed out about Ivy , I will know she is in good hands . Thank you Chantii !!

I am an avid review reader and felt it was important to share my experience with other dog owners. I found Chantii to be very kind however, this was not the best Rover experience for me. My dog Gucci has several health issues all of which I tried my best to explain with regard to his medication regimen. He is also alpha and gave what information I had on past boarding experiences and what I learned from other sitters. The first day away I received an update and picture on Gucci's status but received no other photos during his 4 day stay. I initiated communication on the third and was told he was doing well, getting along with her other dogs and eating as needed. I received a text 6 min later stating she has had to section him off in the living room because he was being snappy. I am not sure which was accurate. Chantii also made mention that Gucci had gotten a hold of his bag of treats and eaten them all along with the bread he uses to take with his medication. This was surprising to me because he cannot reach anything left on a counter top as he is a small dog. I then found out they were left behind a TV...the only explanation given was that "he did not look like the type of dog that would do that". My concern was not for the treats but the sodium content as he has a heart condition. I also knew that would upset his stomach but was told there was no change in his stool. WhenI got Gucci home he had feces in his hair on his bottom which is likely because he had diarrhea. No one could change the fact that he ate something he shouldn't have and it would have to run its course however, as a parent I just wanted the truth on how he was faring. Later the same day I was told he had eaten his treats I was informed he was having what sounds like collapses. He has had these in the past but not in the month prior to his stay after having a new medication added to his regimen. This of course worried me and I requested a phone call for discussion. Chantii states she tried to call me several times, however, we did not speak until several hours later when I sent another message asking for a phone follow up. I was worried sick about him the entire time but when we did speak it sounded as though he was doing much better. My first thought was he wa not given his medication as needed but that was unfair for me to think and I tried to just chalk it all up to the unknown. He has not had any episodes since returning home. Day 4 I again initiated contact and was told he had slept well and was not having any eating issues which was a huge relief. I will acknowledge being sensitive as this was the first time leaving him since being diagnosed with CHF and Pulmonary hypertension. I did not have a great sense of peace or comfort during this expereince although Chantii did her best to encourage me to enjoy my trip. It was just hard for me to do with spotty communication and what I felt was avoidable issues with his food intake. I believe the positive reviews I read to be true for those parents, however, mine was less than stellar. I do not feel there was any ill intent or malice on anyone's part just not a good fit for Gucci and I.
